JFT-Basic mock test

JFT-Basic Mock Test 1

A 20-question practice set modelled on the real JFT-Basic, which has about 50 questions in 60 minutes with no per-section time limits. All four sections are represented in the same proportions, and the workplace and daily-life situations are the kind the real test favours because it is designed around the Specified Skilled Worker visa.

Before you start

  • 20 questions, 20 minutes. The timer starts when you press begin.
  • You can flag a question and come back to it, exactly as you can in a real CBT.
  • Nothing is marked until you submit, so a flagged question costs you nothing.
  • Your answers stay in this browser. There is no account and no upload.

What is inside this test

The questions are distributed across the same sections as the real exam, so a weak section here is a weak section there.

FAQ

JFT-Basic Mock Test 1 — common questions

Is this JFT-Basic mock test free?
Yes. Every question, every explanation and every result breakdown on Exam Sensei is free, with no account, no sign-up and no email address required. Your answers never leave your browser.
How close is this to the real exam?
The question types, the instruction wording and the balance between sections follow the real paper. What differs is length: this set has 20 questions where the real exam has considerably more, so treat your score as a diagnostic rather than a prediction.
Can I pause and come back later?
Yes. Your progress is saved in your browser as you go, so if you close the tab you will be offered the option to resume when you return. Clearing your browser data will discard it.
Why are the listening questions written out?
We do not yet have recorded audio, so listening items are presented as scripts. Read each one once, at speed, without going back — that keeps the exercise honest. Audio versions are on the roadmap.
What should I do with a low score?
Look at the per-section table rather than the total. A weak section is a study plan: the JLPT and JFT-Basic both require a minimum in each section, so a single weak area can sink an otherwise passing total.
