Reporting a mistake in a question

This is the most useful email you can send us. A wrong answer key or a misleading explanation actively teaches people the wrong thing, so we treat corrections as urgent.

Please include:

  • The test name — for example, JLPT N4 Practice Test 1
  • The question number
  • What you think is wrong, and why

You do not need to be certain. "I think question 8 should be B because of X" is exactly the right message to send, and if you turn out to be wrong we will explain why, which is useful to you either way.

Suggesting a topic or a test

If there is a level, section or grammar area you want covered and cannot find here, say so. Requests genuinely shape what gets written next — the question banks and guides grow in the direction people ask about.

What we cannot help with

Some things are outside what an independent study site can do, and pretending otherwise would waste your time:

  • Registration, fees and test dates. These are handled by the examining bodies and their local partners. Only they have current, authoritative answers.
  • Your exam result or score report. We have no access to anyone's results.
  • Visa and immigration advice. We can describe what the published language requirement is; we cannot advise on your individual application. That is a matter for the Immigration Services Agency, your accepting organisation or a qualified adviser.

Response times

Exam Sensei is a small project. Corrections to questions are usually handled within a few days; other messages may take longer. Every email is read.
